Getting Started!!!!

Hey everyone,

Well I finally got my butt into gear and started my Licence 2 Test Drive course & hopefully in doing so learn more about blogs, online photo sharing, wikis, social networking and RSS feeds, so here i go with my very first blog.

We can use blogs inside the library by letting our customers know some of the new authors, series of popular books, upcoming events, social events, comunication lines open, bus timetables around the local area, next exchanges, bookclubs, outcome of meeting, helping to keep comunicating with different departments, fundraisers, special event promotions, monthly reports and generally just letting the public know whats going on in our busy little library.

Another way of interacting with neighbouring libraries and without waiting for long periods at a time is a discussion board where we can communicate with each other on a more frequent basis.
